Born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa I grew up skateboarding and surfing. At the age of 9 with little to no facilities I started building my own ramps.  Metri-Tech started in 2007 building skate parks in Cape Town. In 2011 I was contracted by California Skate Parks to build a skate plaza at the Maloof Money Cup in Kimberly.  To date I have been part of the California Rampworks team building several skate parks, including X-Games, Dew Tour, Van Doren Invitational @ the US Open of Surfing and the Maloof Money Cup.
